These therapies view the body as a network of subtle energy fields that can be tuned like radio signals. Bio resonance (invented in 1977) uses skin electrodes and a computer to scan the body’s electromagnetic signals, identify any “altered” frequencies emitted by unhealthy cells, and then re-emit corrected frequencies so cells can “vibrate at their natural frequency”. In effect it is described as an “energy balancing” system influenced by Traditional Chinese Medicine and Reiki principles.
Likewise, Reiki and chakra healing see a universal “life force” (ki/qi) flowing through us; practitioners channel this energy through their hands to align a patient’s vibrational state. Both approaches aim to clear energetic blockages and re-harmonize the body’s fields, treating illness at its root rather than masking symptoms.
Kinesiology makes use of the mechanism of communication via your muscles to pick up imbalance and relies on the premise that your body is the memory bank of all you believe and have experienced and is also intelligent enough to know what it needs to come back into balance. Kinesiology and Bio resonance are biofeedback systems.
Collaborative applications
In my practice I like to combine bio resonance scanning with reiki and kinesiology in treatment plans. A typical session might begin with a bio resonance “calibration” (often even remotely), where I use the device to map out energetic imbalances.
Bio resonance, Reiki and kinesiology combined have a focus on treating the whole person, not just giving symptom relief… it goes deep into the root cause and provided just that bit more insight into what’s happening inside your body.. For example, I can deliver targeted Reiki (hands-on or distance) to the exact meridians or chakras flagged by the scan. After the sessions, clients receive a custom “protocol” – including diet/supplement tips, flower essences, or home exercises or further coaching – to support continued healing.
The bio resonance device provides objective data about frequency patterns, and the energy-healing techniques address subjective, emotional and spiritual aspects. Integrating both yields more profound relaxation and symptom relief than either alone.
Evidence and perspectives
One 2022 study found that patients with mild/moderate depression improved more on the Hamilton rating scale with bio resonance therapy than with standard SSRI medication.
A client reported that “after seven months of therapy, my thyroid gland function is almost back to normal” using bioresonance. Advocates argue that even if the mechanism is unclear, the relaxation and increased awareness these sessions bring can have real wellness value.
I have been conducting my own research compiling before and after scans, after interventions, to monitor results. These will be made available soon.
- Potential benefits: Combined sessions are often deeply relaxing and may empower clients by giving them an active role in self-care. By addressing both measurable “imbalances” (via the device) and emotional factors (via kinesiology), some clients feel they get a more holistic treatment. The synergy can “enhance client experience” and support root-level healing beyond symptom relief. These non-invasive personalized protocols are attracting more people seeking gentle alternatives or preventive care.
Conclusion
Bio resonance, kinesiology and reiki share a common philosophy – that the body’s wellness depends on vibrational resonance of invisible energy fields. Combining these modalities could provide a fuller approach: the technology offers a kind of “diagnostic tuning,” while Reiki or chakra work offers intuitive, hands-on balancing and kinesiology helps to further tune into the body to address the emotional, mental, physical imbalances that manifest as symptoms. Many clients report that the integrated approach brings profound relaxation, emotional release, and symptom relief.
